First project farm-32: Advancing Sustainable Agriculture in Khouribga, Morocco

Farm-32 is working alongside the rich agricultural ecosystem of Khouribga Province, Morocco, to develop innovative solutions for sustainable food production. Known for its agricultural heritage and proximity to key cities like Casablanca and Rabat, Khouribga offers excellent logistical connections, with transit times to major European markets under 35 hours. The region’s skilled workforce and strategic location make it ideal for our first project.

Our initial venture is a 3,000-ton herb production facility that utilizes Controlled-Environment Agriculture (CEA). This technology allows us to control all aspects of the growing environment—temperature, humidity, light, and nutrients—enabling us to produce high-quality crops with minimal environmental impact. Our closed-loop system is designed to conserve water, recycle CO2, and produce near-zero runoff, ensuring sustainability in an arid region.

By working with the natural strengths of the region and using advanced CEA methods, we expect yields of up to 1000 tons per hectare annually, using minimal fertilizer and almost no chemical pest control. Power costs are kept low—up to 80% lower than European grid costs—by leveraging renewable energy and a highly efficient, custom-built facility.

Through this project, farm-32 aims to complement the existing agricultural landscape of Khouribga, while setting a new standard for sustainable farming in the region. Our work creates steady employment and supports year-round food production, contributing to both local and global food security.

Mediterranean production base in Sardinia, Italy, focused on herb cultivation through polytunnels and glass/plastic greenhouses.

Farm-32 operates a Mediterranean production base in Sardinia, Italy, focused on herb cultivation through polytunnels and glass/plastic greenhouses. The location provides rapid access to Italian and wider European markets, enabling short lead times and direct commercial traction.

The Sardinia operation combines practical greenhouse production with continuous optimisation of crop performance, water efficiency and input management. Working within real market conditions allows us to align volumes, quality and pricing directly with buyers, accelerating revenue generation and contract development.

Importantly, Sardinia offers access to underutilised horticultural infrastructure in the region, creating clear opportunities for rapid scaling without large greenfield construction. This flexibility enables controlled expansion as demand grows.

Through disciplined greenhouse production and strong market connectivity, Farm-32 delivers reliable, traceable Mediterranean-grown herbs while building scalable commercial capacity within the European Union.

Research and development center farm-32: Progressing our technology in Wageningen, Netherlands

Wageningen serves as Farm-32’s central coordination and development hub. Located next to Wageningen University & Research and embedded within the Dutch horticultural ecosystem, this site anchors our R&D, system design and strategic partnerships.

From Wageningen, we coordinate operations across all Farm-32 sites. It functions as our control and optimisation centre, where performance data is analysed, cultivation protocols are refined and system-level improvements are developed.
Close collaboration with Wageningen University & Research enables structured trials, crop performance validation and expansion of our cultivation portfolio. In parallel, we work closely with horticultural technology partners in the Westland region to integrate climate systems, energy optimisation and infrastructure design into scalable deployment models.

Wageningen is where concepts are tested, performance is measured and next-generation system improvements are engineered before implementation in operational environments. It is the knowledge backbone of Farm-32’s scalable, climate-resilient production strategy
